Mobile mapping is the means of collecting Geo-spatial data using mapping sensors that are mounted on a mobile platform. Cameras, along with navigation and positioning sensors, e.g., the Global Positioning System (GPS), and inertial devices such as inertial measurement unit (IMU), are integrated and mounted on a mobile vehicle for mapping purposes.
Our vehicle mounted survey equipment collects images that shall be used to analyze both road assets, extensions, encroachments, distress information etc through visual and automatic inspection. The collected data has been provided for various standards such as UKPMS, MicroPAVER, HDM-4, ASTM Standards, MUTCD Standards etc.
